Hyder Consulting’s environmental team works closely with other areas of the company in order to provide total project solutions. We offer a range of skills in assessment, auditing, conservation and overall planning and management. Specialist input can be provided throughout all project phases, from feasibility and concept development through to construction and operational management and maintenance. We aim to provide our clients with integrated environmental solutions, consistent with the principles of ecologically sustainable development.

The team also drives Hyder Consulting’s commitment to good environmental practices, corporate social responsibility, and continuous improvement. Environmental management systems are integrated in to our wider company system which has been accredited to ISO14001.

As part of our targeted growth within the environmental field, Hyder Consulting acquired the highly respected environmental and geoenviromental consultancies, Ashact and Marcus Hodges Environment in August and September 2004 respectively. Both will operate as divisions of Hyder Consulting from their offices in Buckinghamshire, UK (Ashact) and Devon and Cornwall, UK (Marcus Hodges) but with the full back up and resources of our environmental, management and design teams around the world.
